I think I found a way to kill Jigs with marth really early and IT might help shift the matchup marth favored!

So basically I was on UnclePunch practicing basic tech skill with a bunch of characters so I decided to try out pivot tippering on Jigglypuff. However, when I accidentally imput an upair, the soft hit sent her right above Marth’s head at 70%. I then labbed using all the DI options on UnclePunch and found that it’s a reaction based true death combo on jigs from 63ish% to 79ish% when you f-smash her after the upair. Before 63% there’s no tipper, after 79% the move doesn’t hit. I...

I think I found a way to kill Jigs with marth really early and IT might help shift the matchup marth favored!

Need help against incentaroar

I've got a guy at my local scene who plays incentaroar (incenta for short) and i keep losing to this stupid characters jank. I've tried camping him and all i get is his revenge built up because he just eats the laser. I've tried just ou moving and dash dance camp and it doesn't work. I've tried out spacing him but his air moves seem huge ntm he builds revenge off of most of my air combos and I'm just at a loss because i don't understand what is going on. How should i play this match? Because...

With the reveal of Joker from Persona 5, my thoughts towards Smash's shyness towards playable western third-party characters have reawakened. It's been something that hasn't bothered me too much, but it's a pretty noticeable pattern nonetheless.

I know that Smash's favoritism towards Japan-made characters is completely understandable due to Japanese provincialism (NOT xenophobia, as some people may say), but I think companies outside the Land of the Rising Sun should get their fair shake in...

Personally I'd imagine tri-plats so we can get those off the top kills a little more consistently. However, I notice pros such as CaptainZach pick Lylat really often, mainly for Bullet Arts camping. Thoughts?

How bad does Greninja suffer on WiFi?

Recently picked up the ninja frog and having a lot of fun with him offline but online really struggling. I’m a solid player 4.7 GSP with Lucario and Bowser but can’t even stay above 3 mil with Greninja.

Do you guys think Greninja is noticeably worse to play as online or this case is more just the process of learning a new and fairly technical character? Thanks.

Is cargo throw off stage situation dependent?

Hi, I was watching Yoda play a tournament match, and I noticed when he takes an opponent offstage he always jumps and forward throws. I feel like I have better luck with simply running offstage and down throwing. Is one flat out better than the other or are there situations that could call for both? There are a few factors that make this more complicated than simply testing which throw sends the opponent farther. I feel like by forward throwing it sends the opponent upward making it easier...

While 3.10 was probably the best smash patch to date imo, there’s definitely still some balancing to be made in the name of some moves.

Maybe I’m just not good enough or play too much WiFi to be able to accurately react to a few moves but imo dying from moves like any of Ganon’s spammable, long ranged, disjointed, extremely powerful smash attacks, PK Freeze, Roller(why do I know this is coming but still struggle to avoid it), Zelda’s neutral B, and NIKITA just to name a few, is beyond...

Be honest.

There's always the one character that you just despise seeing. Wether it's just a character that annoys you, a bad MU, or just a character you can't get around, there's always that one character.


for me :
:ultyoshi: - I really hate this character. He can be so cheap and annoying, it's frustrating. The fact that people who are absolutely awful at the game can abuse a few moves and just win really grinds my gears.
